Key Visual of Vintage Vinyl Exhibition

With nostalgic music media - vinyl and cassette, combined with coffee, reading, and plants, this exhibition brings four daily propositions for modern, fast-paced lives. The key visual of this exhibition presents a rotating vinyl, a running clock, and a recording cassette. With records overlapping the circle of time, it creates a feeling of vintage flow.

In this interactive exhibition, the audience can choose and play vinyl records according to their preference. As they enter each different space of time proposal, the audience can experience different atmospheres and music.

The exhibition was held on May 6th, 2019 at Providence University in Taichung, Taiwan. The design team, led by I'der Branding Design, collaborated with the Department of Taiwanese Literature of Providence University to create an enjoyable proposal for life and an unforgettable memory.

The unique properties of this design lie in its ability to combine nostalgic music media with elements of daily life such as coffee, reading, and plants. The exhibition invites visitors to immerse themselves in a nostalgic atmosphere and provides a space for relaxation and reflection.

The design team utilized vinyl CDs for invitation cards and mini DV tapes as merchandise, adding a touch of authenticity to the exhibition. The technical specifications include a vinyl CD invitation card measuring 150*150mm, a blank cassette measuring 106*67mm, a blank mini tape measuring 71*50mm, a poster measuring 502*728mm, and a key visual wall measuring 75*170mm.

This design was recognized for its creativity and ingenuity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category in 2020. The award acknowledges designs that demonstrate outstanding technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life and making the world a better place.
